  • Open Pit-Boys and Girls Long Jump 4:45-5:30

  • Keep in Mind
    • Heats are full and the entire roster is entered
    • We want to get marks for all athletes in competition vs. practice where their gear is not tuned for the best marks: Athletes without paperwork cannot compete
    • We have heat sheets to help make the finish line process go smooth and ensure accuracy

Bus Leaves at 8:00am

Field Events start at 10:00am

  • UPDATED EVENT INFO
    • The running events will start at 11:00 AM with the Girls 4X800M Relay.
    • All vertical jumps (High Jump and Pole Vault) will be seeded from worst to best.
    • All throws will be seeded worst to best. Flights will be seeded worst to best.
    • All distance races (1600M and 3200M) will be randomly seeded.
    • The 800M may (depending on the numbers) be seeded in two sections. Sections will be seeded by time (best to worst). Lane assignments in each section will be random.
    • Sprint race heats will be seated best to worst.
    • Start at 11:00am
  • Full Event Details-Coaches remind me to print one for you.
  • Ticket Link $8, Must be purchased and presented digitally
  • Entries for the Invitational are listed below
  • Keep in Mind:
    • Only the two best performers are able to be entered
    • We expect every member of the team to travel with us and study their event/help their teammates with warm-ups/observe competition/be an encouragement
    • There are events open to enter, specifically hurdles, your coaches will try and encourage you to test out events that will put you in a position to help the team most
    • Tuesday the 9th will be an open entry meet

Junior High will not have practice over Spring Break | High School will practice 10-12 every weekday and compete Saturday

  • Week of March 10th – Proverbs 5
    • Monday March 11th-Regular Monday except Junior High receive uniforms. These will be handed out first thing
    • Tuesday March 12th-No School 9th, 10th and 12th Grade. NO PRACTICE FOR ANY GRADE LEVEL, NO JUNIOR HIGH-NO HIGH SCHOOL TRACK and Field
    • Wednesday March 13th- Picture Day-Junior High will practice until 4:30, after getting their team photo. High School will use whatever time available before 5:00 to get pictures and conditioning also.
    • Thursday March 14th-Practice as usual
    • Friday March 15th-End of Quarter, Practice 12:00-2:00pm Junior High and High School teams
  • Week of March 17th – John 1
    • DR Trip – Practice Schedule Unchanged for Remaining Athletes
  • Week of March 24th
    • Holy Week – Palm Sunday
    • Spring Break
    • Good Friday

YSU Indoor Meet

  • Meet Details From YSU:
  • Bring Lunch, there is a Chick-fil-A right next to the stadium, we will plan to eat there before we leave
  • Relay Runners will practice at the last indoor practices Tuesday and Thursday starting at 3:00pm
  • We will also set up hurdles and starting blocks both Tuesday and Thursday
  • At this Moment the time order looks like, These are all complete guesses, I have been wrong in the past:
    • Sarah Long Jump at 10:00am
    • Ella Runs first in the 60mH- around 10:30
    • Then the 4x200m Relay around 11:00am, Faith, Megan, Madison, Sarah
    • Then the hurdle final, 11:15 Ella
    • 60m 11:30 Faith, Madison, Sarah
    • Miranda in the Mile 12:30
    • Megan in the 400m 1:00
    • Miranda in the 800 1:30
    • Megan in the 200 3:oo
  • If we leave at 8:00, get there at 9:00am, walk the track and check Sarah and Ella in, we should have thirty minutes of time to look over exchange zones, and get the girls warmed up together as a team.
  • You need to get a uniform Thursday
