Jackson Polar Bear Relays

The following details are from 2023 and will be updated as soon as I know new information

Field Events: 4:30 PM Running Events: 5:00 PM

Jackson Polar Bear Relays Time Schedule 2023

Field Events:

Field Events begin at 4:30 PM Pits will open at 4:00 PM for warmups

Long Jump: Contested as Open Pit ( 4 jumps per athlete. No prelims/finals)

High Jump: Men followed by Women

Throws: Men’s Discus/Women’s Shot will be contested first, then switch (4 throws per athlete, no prelims/finals) Top two athletes throws will be added together for the scored relay.

Running Events:

Women run first, followed by Men

All runners should check in at the starting line of their race (or at an officials designated area)

5:00 – 100M/110M Shuttle Hurdles

5:30 – 4 x 800 Relay

6:15 – 4 x 200m Relay

6:30- 4 x mile Relay

7:00 – 4 x 100M Relay

7:45 – DMR Relay

8:30 – Sprint Medley Relay

8:45 – 4 x 400M Relay

9:00 – Awards (See breakdown below)

***times are all approximate. We will keep things running as close to on time as possible!

Scoring/Awards

Scoring 7 places for each event: 10-8-6-5-4-3-1

Individual Medals for 1st – 3rd place Relay Teams

Team Awards for 1st and 2nd Place Teams
